Class Levels

Toddler Ballet (Tuesday Morning, Saturday Morning)                          
Ages 2-3.  No previous training. Emphasis is on creative movement. Class time is 45 minutes. Girls wear a Solid color leotard (can be one with attached skirt), pink tights, pink ballet shoes. Boys wear brown/black pants and white shirt and black ballet shoes. 


 
Monday Ballet Ages 4-5, Wednesday Thursday and Saturday Ballet Ages 4-7    
Basic ballet steps and creative movement.  Class transitions to 1 hour. Class wears this Pink Ballet Leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes. Skirts allowed. Boys wear brown/black pants and white shirt and black ballet shoes.  



Evening Ballet Ages 6-7, Tuesday Ballet Ages 4-7
Basic ballet technique with little or no prior training. Lavendar Ballet Leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes. Skirts allowed. Boys wear brown/black pants and white shirt and black ballet shoes. Class time is 1 hour. 



Ballet 1

Teacher: Brianna Hall 
Ages 8-10. Basic ballet technique with 1-2 years prior training recommended. Blue Ballet Leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes. Optional skirt in light blue. Boys wear brown/black pants and white shirt, black ballet shoes. Class time is 1 hour. 

Beginner Jazz Monday 

Age 8-13. Class time is 45 minute class each Wednesday. Girl Dancers can wear any style solid color leotard, pink tights, and jazz shoes. Boys wear brown/black pants and white shirt, and black jazz shoes. Similar to Musical Theatre Jazz, this jazz class will take some steps from the ballet curriculum and will include isolations (learning to accent movement sharply with one hand or leg), and learning about syncopation (accenting an offbeat measure of music), as well as learning swings and kicks. 

Contemporary 

Ages 11 and up. Class time is 45 minutes. Girls can wear any style solid color leotard, pink tights, and ballet shoes. Boys wear brown/black pants and white shirt. This introductory class will have steps similar to jazz, but also add moves from modern, lyrical, and ballet.The focus of the class is to connect emotion to movement. 

Tap 1 

Ages 4 and up. This introductory class is a half hour, and goes through basic beginner tap steps. Girls should wear a black colored leotard, with pink tights and black tap shoes. Boys wear brown/black pants and white shirt and black tap shoes.

Tap 2 

Ages 11 and up. This intermediate class is a half hour, and goes through more intermediate tap steps. Dancers should wear a black colored leotard, with pink tights and black tap shoes. Boys wear brown/black pants and white shirt and black tap shoes. 

Ballet 2
Ages 11-12.  Beginner-intermediate. 3-4 years prior training recommended. Class transitions to 1 hour 15 minutes. Burgandy Ballet Leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes.Optional skirt in burgundy. Boys wear brown/black pants and white shirt and black ballet shoes. 



Advanced Ballet
Ages 13-18. 5-6 years recommended. Girls wear Black Ballet Leotard,  pink tights, pink ballet shoes. Optional skirt in black. Can also find the same skirt and leotard in child sizing. Boys/Gentlemen wear brown/black pants and white shirt and black ballet shoes. 

Pre-Pointe

Pre-Pointe is a specialized class to strengthen the muscles in feet to prepare them for pointe work. In this class we use different exercises to develop these muscles. Pre-Pointe usually begins at age 12 when the bones have slowed down growing. We typically work in pre-point for at least a year before we begin pointe class with pointe shoes. Taking a Ballet class alongside this class is required. 

Pointe 2

Pointe class is an advanced class a dancer can take after completing Pre-Pointe classes. 

This is the an exciting milestone for a ballet dancer, a class that you train many years to be able to join. Taking a Ballet class alongside this class is required. 

Pointe shoes are required. 

​Adult Ballet/Jazz Combo 
Ages 18 and up.

Ballet Portion:

Comfortable clothing you can easily move in. We will learn beginner ballet steps before moving to more intermediate ballet steps. This is a beginner ballet class! 

Jazz Portion:

Fun, upbeat and more fast-paced. Combining ballet technique with current forms of popular dance. We will explore many styles of jazz dance from classic and Broadway to contemporary and lyrical. Dress: Clothes you can move in! Tights or leggings to proper form of legs. Shoes: Black jazz shoes.

Beginner Hip Hop 

Ages 8-12. This introductory class is 45 minutes. It will focus on basic beginner hip-hop steps and getting the dancer comfortable with a new style of movement. The last half of class time will be reserved for learning combos where dancers will combine the techniques they have learned to a short section of music every few weeks. Focus of the class is to learn how to move in new different ways, body awareness, choreography retention, and of course fun! Dancers will learn how to find and move to the beat of the music while also adding their own individualism to the steps. Dress code is anything the dancer can move comfortably in and feels confident in (no jeans). For footwear, clean sneakers only to be worn to dance class are preferable.

Lyrical

This class will combine modern dance with some ballet technique for a free-flowing, full-body movement and expressive class. It will be fun strengthening and beautiful! Dress:clothes you can move freely in. Shoes: Footundeez 

Musical Theater Class 

Build skills for musical theater dance auditions and productions! The class builds a foundation of movement skills commonly found in musical theater choreography including jazz dance technique and movement improvisation. Combinations will give students the opportunity to weave acting and storytelling into their dancing while exposing students to diverse musical theater styles. Please wear comfortable clothing that moves you. Shoes: Technique shoes work! Jazz or Character shoes are great! Bring your creativity, personality, and pizzazz!
